- Description
- Object Description: Under life-size right foot; DIMENSIONS??? Broken diagonally proceeding from ankle to top quadrant of upper in-step. Nails and cuticules sculpturally aticulated.
- Production Marks: N/A
- Iconography: Foot likely belonged to one of 2 winged victories placing a crown on the head of the over life-sized emperor or his co-ruler. Presence of a preserved pophyry head of ruler (SEEDD Inv. #:???) and a second poprphyry neck (SEEDD Inv. #: ???) indicates either a single porphyry group with two rulers and at least two victories (see Miniature Porphyry foot 2, and 3, SEEDD Inv. # ???-???), or two seperate groups each featuring one ruler and one or more victories. Comparable iconography exists on a Tetrarchic medallion (link to medallion example).
