Description
Production Marks: N/A
Iconography: Given that the fragment is proportional to the three miniature porphyry feet found at the same site (see Miniature Porphyry foot 1, 2, and 3 SEEDD Inv. # ???-???), it likely derives from one of at least 2 victories placing a crown on the head of the over life-sized emperor or his co-ruler. Presence of a preserved pophyry head of ruler (SEEDD Inv. #:???) and a second poprphyry neck (SEEDD Inv. #: ???) indicates either a single porphyry group with two rulers and at least two victories, or two seperate groups each featuring one ruler and one or more victories. Comparable iconography exists on a Tetrarchic medallion (link to medallion example).
